Offering & Thanks
It is traditional to give offerings to your healer and the helping spirits as a gesture of gratitude. Traditionally, gifts of all kinds were given—food, flowers, art, trinkets, coins, crystals, and even songs—as a token of appreciation. While practitioners now typically receive payment, please know that gifts are not expected.
If you would like to participate and have offerings of thanks for the spirits, you can:
Place them outside in your yard, at a river, or in a park (if appropriate).
Hold them up to the sky or ground, saying a prayer of thanks.
Alternatively, leave your offerings on your altar, waiting a couple of days before disposing of any perishables or temporary items.
Altars for Healing & Connection
Altars are a powerful way to engage with your healing and connect with your helping spirits. If you’re having multiple sessions with me, I highly recommend creating an altar that incorporates symbols, colors, and energies that embody the healing you’re seeking.
Before a session, after a session, or during the time in between, an altar can serve as a sacred space to deepen your intention and align with the desired outcome.
Altars remind us that we are supported and offer a place to show compassion for our own journey.
