THE MYSTER SCHOOL PRESENTS

Sacred Tool-RATTLE Making

A 2-Day ceremonial workshop

APRIL 25TH & 26TH

Rattles are one of the oldest ceremonial instruments known to humanity.
Across cultures, sacred sound has accompanied prayer, healing, storytelling, initiation, and celebration.

From European earth-based traditions to the many Indigenous lineages of the Americas, Africa, and beyond — rhythm and rattle have helped people enter altered states, clear space, and call upon spiritual support.

Sacred tools are part of our shared lineages.

An opportunity

CREATE A SCRED TOOL AND CONNECT TO YOUR OWN ANCESTRAL REMEMBERING

In this two-day workshop, we gather in a ceremonial community setting to create.

We’ll honor the making of your rattle — in good relationship with the materials, the lineage of the craft, and your personal process.

April 25th & 26th

What You’ll Experience

We will open and close each day in ceremony. Together, we will set intention and enter guided meditation to clarify the purpose of your rattle and call forth the wisdom of your ancestors.

At completion, we will activate our rattles together.

There will be spacious time to stitch, shape, adorn, and refine your work, with guidance available throughout the entire process.

This is not rushed crafting.
It is intentional creation.

The Materials

You’ll be making an animal hide rattle with a wooden handle.

All supplies and adornments will be available.

You are invited to bring a personal, special, or sacred object to place in your rattle.

Through the hide, string, beads, paint, corn, and natural elements, we’ll reconnect to the Earth.
Through the act of making, we’ll reconnect to lineage.

Your hands.
Your focus.
Your heart.

Creation becomes ceremony.

Rhythm & Flow

Both Days

Please bring your own lunch, or there are food cart pods just across the street.
We may gather to eat together, or you are welcome to walk the neighborhood in quiet reflection, or enjoy your meal on the lawn.

Part of this workshop is the simple beauty of creating in community — working alongside others who also honor these ways.

Day One — Creation

We begin with opening ceremony and shared intention. From there, you will be guided through the first stages of creating your rattle. By the end of the day, your rattle will be formed and set to dry overnight.

Day Two — Completion

We gather again in the morning as community to continue the process. You will adorn your rattle, refine its sound, and complete the final steps. We close the workshop together in ceremony.

Your Teacher

Cass Estes

An intuitive coach, shamanic practitioner, and maker whose work lives at the intersection of healing and creation. She blends neuroscience with spiritual practice, bringing beauty and care to spaces where making becomes a pathway to presence and intuitive knowing. Through 1:1 sessions, gatherings and classes, she invites people into deeper connection with their bodies and inner wisdom. Her work is grounded in the belief that we are sensual beings who thrive through creativity, connection, and joy.

Your Ceremonialist

Amber Jane Arquette

Is a ceremonialist, healer, and founder of the Mystery School. For many years she has guided students and clients through ceremony, energy medicine, and ancestral reconnection. Her training includes Lakota traditions of song, honoring the Medicine Wheel, and working in relationship with helping spirits and ancestors.

Through her healing practice and teachings, Amber Jane helps people reconnect with their own spiritual authority and the deeper wisdom within their lineage. Her mission is to support sovereignty in humanity—offering practical and ceremonial pathways for those who feel called to bring more light, love, healing, and joy into the world. She is devoted to helping people step into their path with confidence, support, and empowered presence.

The Nature of a Rattle

The sound of a rattle is shaped by how it is formed —
the shape of the rattle head, the thickness of the hide, and what is placed within.

No two are alike.

Some carry a soft, soothing tone.
Some awaken the room the moment they are shaken.

You will fill and test the sound of your rattle several times during the process, listening and adjusting until the tone feels right.

Investment

$333 for both days

Two sliding scale spots available $222-$333

SACRED RATTLE CLASS

About the Mystery School

Amber Jane Arquette is the founder of the Mystery School (a name is soon to be revealed). She has invited Cass Estes to bring her wisdom, skill, and warm heart to offer these sacred tool workshops throughout the seasons of the year.

The school exists to support sovereignty in those who feel called to walk a deeper path — through self-mastery, energy mastery, and the reconnection to ancient wisdom and practices in practical, ethical, and embodied ways.

These teachings are offered so that the spiritual power you sense within yourself can become something real and lived in your everyday life.

We teach sacred skills with reverence for lineage, relationship, and responsibility.

This workshop is one of many pathways into embodied remembering.
